The Event
DentaSource Direct exhibited at DIGICON 2026, a convention on digital dentistry held over two days in a hotel ballroom. We posted from the floor on August 12 and August 13, and closed the week with a thank you on August 14. This article gathers all three in the order they happened.
Our table carried the working end of the range rather than brochures: a ROSON monitor, endodontic devices, small equipment and instruments, and a chair model in blue upholstery for visitors to sit in.
Day One: Setting Up in the Ballroom
The first reel opens on the DIGICON stage with delegates seated at round tables, then turns to our table along the exhibition side of the room. That layout is worth noting. At a convention like this the lectures and the exhibitors share one hall, so traffic arrives in waves between sessions rather than steadily.
The table itself was laid out to be handled. Devices out of their boxes, instruments in reach, and the ROSON monitor running so that anyone walking past could see a screen rather than a poster.
Day Two: Dentists at the Table
Day two is the day the conversations get specific. The second reel is mostly hands: dentists at the ROSON draped table going through devices with our staff, one visitor examining a product closely, and a group gathered around the phantom head.
The phantom head earns its place at an event like this. It gives a dentist something to work against instead of describing a procedure in the air, and it is the fastest way to show how a device actually behaves in a canal or on a preparation.
What Visitors Asked About
Two themes ran through both days. The first was chairs, from dentists opening a clinic or replacing a unit that has become a maintenance problem. The second was endodontics, which is what you would expect at a digital dentistry convention, and the endo devices on the table were rarely back in their trays for long.
The questions that come up at a booth are more useful to us than the orders. They tell us what a Philippine clinic is actually deciding this year, and this year a good share of it was the move from analogue habits to a digital workflow that has to pay for itself.
The Close
On August 14 we posted our thanks to everyone who came to the table. The last reel is the quieter end of an event: visitors still at the table, our staff going through devices with a dentist, the display holding up on the second afternoon.
Missed Us at DIGICON
Everything that was on the table is on the showroom floor at 610 C. Raymundo Avenue, Maybunga, Pasig City, open Monday to Sunday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The difference is that the showroom has the chairs standing, not just the monitor, so a demonstration there covers more ground than a convention table ever can.
