A Seminar Day in Quezon City
On January 22, 2026 we set up at the PDA Quezon City Dental Chapter 3rd Scientific Seminar, held at Create Studios in Ayala Malls Vertis North.
Chapter seminars are a different room from a trade convention. The audience is smaller, most of the people in it practise within a few kilometres of each other, and the conversations at the tables are about specific clinics rather than general interest.
What We Brought
For a seminar of this size we bring the small equipment rather than a chair. Handpieces, endodontic instruments and the items a dentist can pick up, weigh in the hand and ask about in a minute between sessions.
That is the honest limit of a table at a scientific seminar. Nobody chooses a dental unit during a coffee break. What a table does well is let a doctor put a face to the supplier, handle the smaller items, and find out that the chair they have been reading about is on a showroom floor twenty minutes away.
Why We Turn Up to Chapter Events
The large conventions get the attention, but chapter seminars are where most of our returning clients first met us. A dentist who has already met our team at a Saturday seminar arrives at the showroom with the awkward first conversation already done.
It is also the cheapest research we do. An hour at a table in Quezon City tells us which models dentists are asking about this quarter and which questions our product sheets are not answering.
The Questions We Heard
The recurring one at chapter level is about starting out. A dentist two or three years into practice, working in a rented room with borrowed equipment, wanting to know what a complete first unit actually involves and whether delivery and installation are included.
They are, and the honest answer to the rest is that it depends on the room. Power, water and drainage decide as much about a first clinic build as the chair does.
