The Event
On June 2, 2026 we posted the recap of our booth at the PDA Quezon City chapter event, held at Seda Vertis North. It was a ballroom setting rather than a trade hall, which changes the character of the day entirely.
A Table, Not a Hall
At a large convention the display does the work. There is floor space for chairs, a full endodontic bench and a microscope, and dentists arrive at the booth already curious about something they saw from the aisle.
A chapter event is the opposite. One table, a smaller room, and a schedule built around the scientific programme rather than the exhibitors. Nobody wanders. People come over between sessions, and the conversation is the whole of it.
That suits us. Chapter events tend to draw dentists who practise in the same part of the city, which means the questions are concrete: what fits in a room this size, what the delivery looks like across Quezon City traffic, what happens when something needs servicing.
What Came of It
Purchases were made at the table on the day, which is unusual for an event of this size and says something about how far along the conversations already were. Several of the visitors had seen the lineup at a larger event earlier in the year and came to the table with the decision mostly made.
The rest of the value is slower. A dentist who has met the team once is far more likely to call when a chair finally needs replacing, and that call can come a year later.
Why We Keep Going
Chapter events are small and they are worth attending anyway. Equipment is a considered purchase made a handful of times in a career, and it tends to be made with a supplier the dentist has actually met.
