On February 8, 2025 we posted two reels from the same job. Both follow one dental chair from our Pasig showroom to a clinic in Sta. Maria, Bulacan, and together they show the part of a purchase that dentists rarely see, which is everything that happens before the chair reaches the operatory.
The Route North
The reel opens on a map. Pasig is marked at the bottom of the frame, and the line runs north through Quezon City and Valenzuela toward Sta. Maria. On paper it is a short trip. On a weekday, with a chair in the back and a clinic waiting at the other end, it is most of a working day.
The next frame is the showroom door, with the first boxed unit going out. Deliveries start light and finish heavy. Accessories, hoses and control boxes move first, while the floor is still clear and there is room to work.
Staging the Order
The camera then turns back into the room where the order is staged. Cartons stacked shoulder high, a chair already sheathed in bubble film, a tool case on the floor and the team moving around all of it.
A dental chair is not a single object. It travels as a base, a seat and backrest, a delivery unit, an operating light, a spittoon assembly and a bundle of hoses and cables. The order in which those go into the vehicle decides how quickly they come out at the other end, so the staging is done before anything is lifted.
Into the Lift and Into the Van
The last stretch of the reel is the loading itself. The wrapped unit goes into the service lift on a trolley, the tool case and cartons follow, and downstairs four hands guide the chair into the vehicle over a padded floor.
Nothing in these frames is dramatic, which is the point. A chair that is loaded carefully arrives without a mark on it, and a chair that arrives without a mark on it is installed the same day instead of being photographed for a claim.
What Is Inside the Chair
The second caption is where the specification appears. Our chairs are built with imported components, with tubings and motors sourced from Italy, Japan and the United States.
That is worth a moment for a clinic owner. The parts that move and the parts that carry water and air are the parts that wear, so they are the ones to ask about before signing anything. Where a chair is assembled matters less than where those components come from and whether the supplier holds them in the country.
