The Job In Taguig
On July 17, 2026 we delivered and installed a new ROSON DX-A3S at a clinic in Taguig City. The reel we posted that day covers the visit from the crate arriving under the clinic sign to the dentist signing the handover documents at the end.
An installation inside a city clinic has its own constraints. Access is usually a lift and a corridor rather than a loading bay, the room is already fitted out, and the practice normally wants to open again the next morning. The work is planned around that.
Unwrap, Set, Level
The reel opens with our technician cutting the wrap off the unit directly beneath the clinic signage. The unit stays crated until it is at the door, and is unwrapped where it will be built.
The base is set first and levelled against the floor. This is the least visible step and the one that decides everything after it. A base that is out of level puts the chair out of true through its whole travel, and no amount of adjustment further up recovers it.
Bowl, Delivery Unit, Services
The middle of the reel is the plumbing and the wiring, which is where the hours go. The ceramic bowl is fitted, sealed and connected to the water feed and the drain. Then the delivery unit is wired.
The delivery unit is the arm that carries the handpieces, the syringe and the controls. It is the part the dentist reaches for hundreds of times a day, so its connections and its balance are worth getting right on installation day rather than living with. Each line is run, seated and tested under working pressure before the covers go back on.
The Handover
The last three stills are the part of an installation that gets photographed least and matters most. Our technician goes through the unit with the dentist, clipboard in hand, then walks the dentist through the chair itself, then the documents are signed under the LED light of the finished unit.
A handover is not a formality. It is where the dentist learns the chair: the position presets and how to set them, where the water and air shut off, how the bowl and lines are flushed at the end of the day, and what routine cleaning the upholstery and the ceramic will take. Ten minutes there saves a service call later.
Where The A3S Sits
The DX-A3S belongs to the ROSON A3 family, which is the range many Philippine clinics end up choosing between when they fit out or upgrade a single operatory. The models differ in the delivery arrangement, the seating and the finish rather than in whether they will do the work.
The honest way to choose is to sit in them. All of the A3 variants are on the showroom floor at 610 C. What This Means For A Clinic Owner
Two things separate a good chair purchase from an expensive one. The first is whether the unit is installed by people who will also service it, because the person who wired the base is the person who can diagnose it over the phone. The second is whether the handover actually happened, or whether the crate simply arrived.
Both of those are decided on delivery day, not in the quotation.
