A DX-S3 Arrives In Balanga
On August 28, 2026 our team installed a ROSON DX-S3 at Zabala Dental Clinic in Balanga, Bataan. We posted the reel of the job two days later, on August 30. Our thanks to Doc Zabala for choosing DentaSource Direct for the fit out.
Balanga is a province run, not a city run. The van is loaded the evening before, the tool kit has to be complete because there is no second trip that day, and the clinic expects to be seeing patients again the following morning. The whole job is planned backwards from that.
Before The Van Left
One frame in the reel was shot before the trip, on the showroom floor at 610 C. Raymundo Avenue, Maybunga, Pasig City, with our technician going over the unit a final time.
That check is the pre-delivery inspection, and it is the cheapest hour in the whole job. The chair is powered up, the hydraulics are run through their full travel, the water and suction lines are flowed, and the light is switched on and aimed. A fault found in Pasig costs an hour. The same fault found in Bataan costs a day and a second trip.
Building The Chair In The Room
At the clinic the base goes down first and is levelled against the floor. A base that is out of level puts the chair out of true through its entire travel, and no adjustment further up recovers it.
After that the work happens underneath: the water feed, the drain, the suction and the power are all run and seated before any cover goes back on. That is the frame of our technician on his back under the chair, and it is where most of the hours in an installation actually go.
The last frame is the finished unit. The beige headrest sits in a glass walled operatory with trees outside, which is the sort of room a chair looks good in and, more usefully, the sort of room that gives a technician space to work.
What The DX-S3 Is
The DX-S3 sits in the ROSON S series, the line built around a quieter, more finished look for clinics that treat the operatory as part of the patient experience rather than a back room. The upholstery, the trim and the delivery arrangement are what separate it from the A series. The work it will do is the same work, and the honest way to choose between them is to sit in both on the showroom floor in Pasig.
Why It Matters Outside Metro Manila
A clinic in Bataan carries a risk that a clinic in Pasig does not. If the chair goes down, the nearest technician is normally three hours away, and every hour of that is a chair not earning. That is why the pre-delivery inspection matters more on a province run, and why the handover at the end covers the daily flush, the shut offs and the routine cleaning before we leave.
