From A Signature In October To A Delivery In December
On October 31, 2025 Dr. Patricia Zamora signed for two ROSON DX-A3 treatment units. On the night of December 18 our team unloaded both of them in Caloocan, ahead of the Christmas break. This article covers both ends of that.
Seven weeks between contract and delivery is a normal interval for a two chair order. The clinic uses it to get the service points and the floor ready, and we use it to confirm stock and schedule the technicians.
The Contract
The signing photograph is the least dramatic part of any equipment purchase and the part that sets everything else. Two units were specified, along with a K-Clamp rubber dam set and a gutta percha cutter from our small equipment range.
Those two items are worth a line. A rubber dam clamp set is what isolates the tooth being worked on, keeping the field dry and keeping everything else out of the way, and it is the difference between a comfortable endodontic appointment and a difficult one. A gutta percha cutter trims the filling material cleanly at the canal orifice instead of leaving the operator to improvise with a heated instrument.
The Delivery
The second post is the delivery itself, filmed at night as the crates came off the truck in Caloocan. December is the tightest month in this business. Clinics want the room finished before they close for the holidays, deliveries compete with everyone else's deliveries for road space, and the working days run out faster than the orders do.
We had both units in stock, which is the only reason a December date was possible at all. A chair that has to be ordered in at the end of the year does not arrive before the break.
Two Chairs At Once
Buying two identical units in one order is cheaper to own than buying two different ones two years apart. One set of spare seals, valves and tubing covers both rooms, staff can work in either room without relearning the controls, and a technician servicing one is already familiar with the other.
The thing to size correctly is the plant. Suction and compressor capacity has to be specified for both chairs running at the same time, not one at a time, and that is the detail most often missed when a clinic adds its second room.
