A Masterclass on the Showroom Floor
This is the companion story to our main report on the ROSON visit — and it's the part we're proudest of. For hours, ROSON's top product specialist Kenny and a senior engineer with over fifteen years in dental equipment walked our entire team through three chairs, feature by feature, on live units — with the tools out and the side panels open.
Not a sales pitch. An engineering transfer. Our sales team, our technicians, and our dental assistants asked questions until there were none left. What follows is what your DentaSource team now knows by heart.
The A3: Our Flagship, Explained From the Inside
The ROSON A3 is our high-end flagship, and the training started there — because the A3 carries features that, according to ROSON, no other unit in the Philippine market has.
The headline is the self-balancing arm. Where traditional units hold the instrument arm in place with an airlock that depends on air pressure, the A3's arm uses a European-built mechanical balance system — engineered for heavy loads, holding its position perfectly, and operating even without an air supply. Position it once and it stays exactly where the dentist left it, every time. According to ROSON, the A3 is the only unit in the Philippine market with this system.
And to be clear about something we're proud of across the range: whisper-quiet, soft-start soft-stop movement isn't an A3 exclusive — every ROSON chair moves this way. It's a brand signature, from the entry models to the flagship.
Then there's water hygiene. The A3 carries ROSON's UW disinfection technology: a low-electric-field system inside the waterline that disinfects city water automatically, with a laboratory-verified disinfection rate of up to 99% — no disinfectant chemicals, no manual tube flushing routines. For clinics, that's one less daily chore and one more thing you can honestly tell patients about your infection control.

The rest of the A3's intelligence stack, as our team learned it:
An LCD status screen with error codes. If a component ever acts up, the chair tells you its error number — so when you call us, our technician already knows what to bring.
One-key off-duty. At closing time, one press lifts the chair to its hygiene position, flushes the spittoon and the entire drainage pipe for five minutes, and stops on its own.
Sensor-driven cup filling with gravity detection, a built-in warm-water supply so patients never rinse cold, an anti-suction siphon that blocks odors from ever backing up into the clinic, and an anti-collision system that protects the dental assistant working close in four-handed dentistry.
Up top sits the eight-bulb Rolight — ROSON's highest light configuration, with yellow, white, and mixed modes. And this year the A3's cushion, backrest, and headrest were upgraded to silicone upholstery — softer, tougher, and available in a seamless finish.
A Five-Year Motor Warranty — and the Motors That Earn It
The motor is the heart of a dental chair — it does the lifting, thousands of cycles a year — and it's exactly where we put our warranty confidence: up to five years on the motor.
Those motors earn it. ROSON has standardized the entire line on TiMOTION motors imported from Taiwan — a globally recognized motion-systems brand — replacing local alternatives at higher cost to themselves, because reliability wins in the long run. Every current unit we deliver carries them, with soft start and soft stop across the range.
N2 Pro: The Workhorse, Evolved
The N2 Pro is the evolution of the N2 Plus — the workhorse line that has long been one of ROSON's best sellers, and one of ours — rebuilt around clinic hygiene and durability.
Its signature is the dual-bottle water system: one bottle for pure water, one for disinfectant solution, so clinics can run proper waterline disinfection on an economical unit. The armrests were upgraded to a tougher material after real client feedback, the spittoon was redesigned to the same modern style as the A3S, and the headrest uses the large, wide base our clients consistently praise. It's also available in the new ROSON Blue — the fresh colorway that's rolling out across the range.
Why Filipino Dentists Love the S Series
The masterclass confirmed something our sales team sees every week: the S3 earns its best-seller status on a few very practical grounds.
The S series (S3, S6, and S9) has a linkage seat system — the seat and backrest move together, so patients never slide down during recline. The seamless cushion design means staff can scrub it down fast between patients. And the metal base gives heavier patients rock-solid stability. Add a slim profile that fits the compact operatories most Philippine clinics work with, and you understand why starting dentists keep choosing it. We do an ocular visit before every installation precisely to match the right unit to the actual space.
A1 Pro: The Digital Deep Dive
Then the training turned to the star of ROSON's 2026 lineup — the A1 Pro — and our team got the full walkthrough of its intelligent touchscreen console.

The screen itself is high-precision, scratch-resistant glass that responds through dental gloves — a detail every clinician immediately appreciates. Behind it:
Five user profiles, fifteen memory positions. Each of five dentists sharing a chair gets three saved chair positions. Associates, part-timers, husband-and-wife practices — everyone works their own way at one press.
A smart spit button. Press once: the chair rises to spitting position and the dental light switches off automatically. Press again: the patient returns to the exact treatment position and the light comes back on. Nobody touches anything twice.

A maintenance scheduler on screen. Set it daily or weekly and the chair itself reminds your team what to maintain and when — the feature we highlighted in our main story, seen here in the flesh.
Digital precision control. The built-in micro motor and scaler are digitally controlled with a precision parameter of ±1%, with dedicated modes for endo, prophylaxis, and restorative work, plus a countdown timer for curing.

And the touches that make daily life easier: a fifteen-second cup-fill and spittoon flush linkage, the one-key end-of-day flush inherited from the A3, a lotus exit position that sits patients up smoothly, magnetic side panels that open with one finger for servicing, and a CE-rated 150kg load capacity that the frame comfortably exceeds in ROSON's own testing. The A1 Pro also ships with ROSON's new ergonomic dentist stool, in PU or silicone.
Built for Real Philippine Clinics
Some of the most valuable training wasn't glamorous at all — it was logistics, and it's where you see a manufacturer that understands the field.

Philippine clinic doorways are narrow. So the engineer taught our team the official three-step slim-down: disconnect two motor wires, two air pipes, and the headrest group — and the armrest and side box come off cleanly, letting the unit pass through even very tight doors, then reassemble in minutes. Our technicians practiced it on the spot.
They also covered the new external junction box ROSON introduced in 2024 — three screws and it swaps in minutes, cutting what used to be a long service visit down to a coffee break — and drilled the golden installation rule: connect the clinic's air line before powering the chair, because the system interlocks air and electricity by design.
The Service Loop Never Closes
Maybe the best part: the training doesn't end when the trainers fly home. Our technical team now has a direct line to ROSON's senior engineers, with real-time translation support, for any service question — typically answered the same day. A new foot pedal design is coming around September, and DentaSource will receive test units first, before it ever ships to customers.
That's what an exclusive partnership is supposed to look like.
Come See What We Learned

Every chair in this story — the A3, the N2 Pro, the S3 — is on our showroom floor in Pasig, the largest dental equipment showroom in the Philippines, and the A1 Pro arrives ahead of the September trade season. Walk in any day, 9 AM to 8 PM, and our team will demo any feature you just read about. Ask them anything. That's the point of training this hard.
