Our Partner Came to Us — And Got Straight to Work
This week, we welcomed a very special delegation to the DentaSource Direct showroom: the expert team from ROSON Medical, our exclusive manufacturing partner for dental chairs and treatment units in the Philippines — led personally by ROSON CEO George Chen, together with Jacky, the director who leads ROSON's international business, and Kenny, the company's top product specialist. They didn't come for a photo opportunity. They came to teach — and to plan.
"We don't want to only place the order and finish the shipment," George told our team. "We want to know how you work here, what support you need, and how we can help." This year alone, ROSON's leadership has made the same trip to partners in the Middle East, Europe, Russia, and Egypt. Now it was the Philippines' turn.
Over several intensive days on site, ROSON's experts ran our entire team through management, sales, and technical training — the same knowledge transfer ROSON conducts with its distributors in its most demanding markets worldwide.
Learning on Real Hardware, Not Slides
The centerpiece of the technical track was something you rarely see outside ROSON's own workshops: a live training board — a full dental unit control system laid open on a pegboard, with every valve, tubing line, solenoid, and handpiece connection exposed and working.
ROSON's engineers walked our technical team through the system piece by piece: how water and air lines route through the unit, how each control block behaves, and how to diagnose and service each component quickly and correctly.

Then it went from the board to the floor. The team worked directly on chair hardware — tracing suction lines, opening up the assembly, and practicing the exact service procedures our technicians perform in clinics across the country.

How deep did it actually go? We published the full product masterclass — the A3, the N2 Pro, and the new A1 Pro, button by button, with photos and video from inside the training.
More Than Technical: Management and Sales, Too
What made this visit different from a typical supplier drop-in is that ROSON invested in the whole team, not just the service technicians.
The management sessions covered how ROSON runs its own operations — the systems behind a manufacturer that has been building dental equipment since 2005. The sales sessions went deep on product knowledge: what actually differentiates each chair model, which specifications matter for which clinical setups, and how to guide a dentist to the right unit for their practice instead of simply the most expensive one.

Inside the Strategy Session: Elevating ROSON in the Philippines
On June 30, the visit went beyond training. George, Jacky, and Kenny sat down with the full DentaSource team for a collaborative strategy session on one topic: how to elevate the ROSON brand in the Philippine market — covering sales, marketing, and after-sales service in a single open conversation.
At the heart of it was a long exchange between our CEO Jason Ramirez and ROSON CEO George Chen about where dentistry is actually heading — what the economics of the market are saying, where patients and practices are moving, and where the future of the profession is being decided: digitalization, smarter after-sales, and technology that makes every clinic more convenient and safer for dentist and patient alike. Two companies, one question: where should each invest its development and research time next? The answer came easily, because the goal is identical — serve the dental community with the best of all of it.

And here's what made it special: it never became a closed-door executive meeting. Two CEOs talked, but the whole team sat at the same table — sales, marketing, technicians, dental assistants — and every voice was heard. Questions were answered on the spot, suggestions were written down by the ROSON team as they came, and ideas from the floor shaped the commitments that follow.
Several commitments came out of that room that will directly benefit our clients:
A proactive after-care program. Drawing on what works with ROSON's most successful partners worldwide, we're formalizing scheduled check-in calls after every installation — a few weeks in, then at three months, then every six months — so small issues get caught before they ever interrupt a clinic day. That's on top of our existing one-to-two-day service response.
Monthly sync meetings with ROSON. ROSON improves its products every single month. From now on, those updates flow to our team through a standing monthly meeting with the people who build the chairs — new features, new materials, and new clinical case studies from Europe and beyond, localized for Filipino dentists.
Marketing support straight from the source. ROSON's own marketing team will feed us their latest product content, laboratory footage, and international case studies so you see exactly what global markets see — straight from Foshan.
The Company Behind the Chairs
The session also gave our team a deeper look at who ROSON really is — and the story is genuinely impressive.
ROSON is headquartered in Foshan, China — the dental manufacturing capital of the world, home to roughly sixty of the country's dental unit manufacturers. Within that hub, ROSON holds a position of real authority: the company chairs the Foshan Dental Association, helping set the standards for the industry it leads.
The heritage runs deep. The family's dental manufacturing legacy stretches back more than two decades — an earlier family manufacturing business was acquired by German dental giant Sirona, and several of ROSON's veteran engineers began their careers there. CEO George Chen took over the company in 2010 after fifteen years in Shanghai with global companies including P&G and LEGO, bringing world-class management thinking into a precision manufacturing business.
And in an industry where most manufacturers simply assemble, ROSON runs its own in-house testing laboratory — still a rarity among Chinese manufacturers — where every component is stress-tested against hard data before it ever reaches a clinic. Six dedicated test systems run continuously: a temperature and humidity chamber, a salt spray tester, an elastic arm tester, a foot pedal tester, a chair frame and motor performance rig, and a control system aging test — overseen by dedicated IQC and OQC teams and an R&D bench averaging over ten years of industry experience.

The scale behind it is just as serious: a 10,000-square-meter production base running end-to-end quality management and digital smart manufacturing, from parts warehouse to finished unit.

A Brand on the Rise, Worldwide
What ROSON shared about its global trajectory made one thing clear: Philippine clinics are partnering with a brand on a steep climb.
In May, ROSON exhibited in Italy, where European dentists are rapidly revising old assumptions about Chinese manufacturing. The company has just signed an exclusive partnership in the United Kingdom, dentists in Belgium are switching to ROSON from long-established European brands, and US FDA registration is in its final stages — expected around the turn of the year, opening the American market.

But what struck our team most wasn't ambition — it was a habit. ROSON never stops going to different countries to learn: sitting with dentists and partners in Italy, Russia, Egypt, and now the Philippines, asking what designs they need, what would actually help, and what makes their daily practice easier. Those answers go straight back into the next generation of chairs. Leading a market is never the goal itself — it's the side effect of listening better than anyone else, year after year.
And that learning happened right here, too. During this visit, the ROSON delegation went beyond our showroom and into a real Philippine practice — FFC Dental Clinic — meeting the dentists and staff, watching real patient flow, and hearing first-hand what Filipino clinics need from their equipment.

"A product competes on price. A brand competes on meaning." That line, quoted in the session from the European Brand Institute, captures the shared philosophy — and it's ours too: listen to Filipino dentists the same way, serve their practice first, and let everything else follow.
What's Coming Next: Meet the A1
The session also previewed what's arriving on our floor next — and it's exciting. The star was the upcoming ROSON A1, which ROSON bills as "the first dental unit for new generation dentists."

The A1 breaks the oldest rule in dental equipment: that every clinic has to look the same. It launches with three signature colors — ROSON Blue, Ballet Pink, and Mint Green — with integrated color customization across the upholstery, water box, and instrument tray, so the whole unit matches your clinic's identity, not the other way around.

And beyond the signature three, the palette goes much deeper — dozens of upholstery colors in soft silicone rubber leather and medical-grade PU, from Hermes Orange to Tiffany Blue to Bordeaux Red.

Beneath the color, it's a serious clinical machine. The frame is 12mm premium carbon structural steel rated to 150kg of load with zero wobble. The lift uses what ROSON calls a "sleep-grade moving system" — soft start, soft stop, quiet enough not to startle an anxious patient. The Rolight S dental light switches between yellow, white, and mixed modes with infrared no-touch control and a removable handle for disinfection. Add intelligent memory chair positions, an error self-check program, a spittoon odor trap, and a one-touch smart clean button — and on the A1 Pro, a seven-inch touchscreen with built-in maintenance reminders that tell your team exactly when each component needs attention.
It also comes in top-mounted, implant, and trolley configurations, with optional built-in scaler, micro motor, curing light, and intraoral camera — ROSON's modular design philosophy in action, so your unit is configured around how you actually practice.
Units are already on the water and expected on our showroom floor ahead of the September trade exhibition season. We published a complete guide — every colorway, every feature, the full A1-versus-A1 Pro breakdown, and the official brochure.
Why a Manufacturer Trains Its Distributor This Hard
When you buy a dental chair, you're not just buying steel and upholstery — you're buying the support system behind it for the next decade. That support is only as good as the people delivering it.
This is exactly why the ROSON–DentaSource partnership works the way it does. ROSON builds the equipment; we make sure it performs in Philippine clinics for years. Training straight from the source closes that loop: when our technician opens up your unit, they're applying procedures taught by the people who designed it.

What This Means for Your Clinic
For the dentists and clinic owners we serve, this training translates into concrete benefits.
Faster, more accurate service calls. Technicians who have disassembled and reassembled these systems under the guidance of ROSON's own engineers diagnose problems faster and fix them right the first time.
Honest, informed buying guidance. A sales team trained by the manufacturer can tell you exactly which model fits your procedures, your patient volume, and your space — with real technical grounding behind every recommendation.
Confidence in the long term. A manufacturer that flies its people to Manila to train its partner is a manufacturer committed to this market. Combined with our local warranty coverage and parts availability in Metro Manila, that's peace of mind you can plan a practice around.
Stronger Together
We extend our sincere appreciation to the ROSON team — George, Jacky, and Kenny — for investing in our people. And a special thank you to CEO George Chen for making the trip to Manila himself. Having the leader of the company sit with our team for hours, share his experience openly, and connect with us personally was genuinely inspiring. It says everything about how ROSON treats its partners: not as customers, but as family.
Partnerships like this are the reason we can stand behind every unit we deliver.
