A Dental Unit That Breaks the Oldest Rule
Walk into almost any dental clinic in the world and the equipment looks the same. ROSON looked at the new generation of dentists — clinic owners who design their spaces, build their brands, and think about how every detail feels to a patient — and built the A1 for them. Their own words: "the first dental unit for new generation dentists." Shaped by color. Defined by quality.
This is the complete guide, drawn from the official product material and from the hands-on walkthrough ROSON's team gave us in our showroom. If you want the story of that visit, start with our main report — then come back for the chair itself.
Three Signatures. Endless Color.
The A1 launches with three signature identities: ROSON Blue, inspired by sky and sea; Ballet Pink, soft and serene; and Mint Green, like mint leaves in a breeze.

And color on the A1 is not just a cushion swatch. The integrated color customization carries your chosen identity across the upholstery, the water box, and the instrument tray — so the whole unit belongs to your clinic's look, not the other way around.

Beyond the signature three, the palette runs deep: dozens of upholstery options across soft silicone rubber leather and medical-grade PU — from Hermes Orange to Tiffany Blue to Bordeaux Red — all abrasion-resistant, easy to clean, and gentle on skin.

Beneath the Beauty: A Serious Clinical Machine
ROSON's own line for it: beneath the stunning exterior lies a true performer.

The chair frame is premium carbon structural steel, 12mm thick, built to handle 150kg — rigid, strong, and uncompromising, with no wobble and no drift under load. The lift runs on ROSON's sleep-grade moving system: smooth start, smooth stop, quiet rise and fall — the same whisper-quiet movement that runs across the whole ROSON range, tuned here for patients who are already nervous enough.

The Working Details Dentists Feel Every Day
The instrument tray carries the Pro Shortcut Combos: an intelligent memory chair position, a cup-filling and rinsing linkage, and a one-touch smart clean button. Below it, the 4-position adjustable handpiece holder lets every instrument sit at the exact angle you prefer — grasp, grip, or storage — so sleeves stop catching on burs.

Above the patient, the Rolight S dental light puts a large, consistent light spot on the oral cavity with three modes — yellow, white, and mixed — switched by infrared sensing so you never touch it mid-procedure, with a removable handle for thorough disinfection. The spittoon carries an odor trap that blocks sewer smells at the source, and the integrated handle keeps hands away from the spittoon bowl entirely.

Built Around the Patient, Too
Patients press one button to fill their own cup and rinse — no awkward waiting. The upholstery under them is soft silicone rubber leather: stain-resistant, abrasion-certified for 20,000 cycles, UV-resistant, and hypoallergenic.

And the whole unit is laid out for real four-handed dentistry — instrument tray and chair positioned so dentist and assistant work close without collisions, in a treatment space that looks as considered as it works.

A1 or A1 Pro: Which One Is Yours?
Here's how ROSON's own team explained the split to us, standing next to the units.
The A1 is the essential expression: the same design language, the same colors, the same frame and movement — at a friendlier entry point for a young dentist opening a first clinic.
The A1 Pro adds the intelligence layer: a high-precision touchscreen in scratch-resistant glass that responds through dental gloves. Behind that screen live five user profiles with fifteen memory positions, an on-screen maintenance scheduler that reminds your team what to service and when, a smart spit button that raises the patient and dims the light in one press, a countdown timer for curing, and digital precision control of the built-in micro motor and scaler to within ±1% — with modes for endo, prophylaxis, and restorative work.
Both ship with ROSON's new RS-07 professional dentist stool — U-shaped ventilation design, sloped leg rest, 90–110° adaptive backrest, and adjustable seat depth — because the dentist's own back matters as much as the patient's comfort.

Configurations for Every Clinic
The A1 comes in top-mounted, implant, and trolley configurations, with optional built-ins — scaler, micro motor, curing light, and intraoral camera. Standard equipment already includes the soft start-stop system, patient self-help cup filler, detachable ceramic spittoon, intelligent memory positions, error self-check program, multifunction foot control, and the Rolight S — plus up to five years of warranty on the motor.

When Can You See It?
Units are on the water now and expected on our Pasig showroom floor — the largest dental equipment showroom in the Philippines — ahead of the September trade exhibition season. Our team has already been trained on it, hands-on, by ROSON's own specialists; read the full masterclass here.
